New Restaurants in Morgan Hill: Where to Eat in 2026
Downtown Morgan Hill is in the middle of a dining boom, and we're not complaining. Over the past year, several new restaurants have opened along the Depot Street and Monterey Road corridor, and they're not chain franchises or fast-casual clones. These are chef-driven spots with real kitchens, local ingredients, and personalities of their own.
Here's what's new, what's good, and where we've been spending our Friday nights.
MOHI Farm: Farm-to-Table With Its Own Farm
MOHI Farm sits at 90 East 3rd Street in the Sunsweet building, right near Alara Cellars and Coffee Guys. The concept is simple: grow it, cook it, serve it. The restaurant is part of Frank Leal's hospitality group, and the menu changes with the seasons because the ingredients come from Leal's own farm, the Morgan Hill Farmers Market, and herbs grown on-site.
Executive Chef Lance Ramhurst runs the kitchen. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all covered here. Hours run Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. We stopped in for a weeknight dinner last month and the grilled vegetables were the best thing on the table. Not fancy, just really well-sourced produce prepared by someone who cares.

The Silos: Cocktails and History on Depot Street
The Silos might be the most interesting space in downtown Morgan Hill. Owner Ross Hanson, who also runs Oak & Rye in Los Gatos, built the restaurant around four original grain silos on Depot Street at 17500 Depot Street. The design leans speakeasy: dim lighting, exposed industrial bones, and remnants of the original granary operation worked into the decor.
Chef Jacob Farleigh heads the kitchen with experience from Michelin-starred restaurants including Manresa and Dio Deka. The cocktails are the main draw for a lot of people. We've gone twice now and both times ended up staying longer than planned because the drinks kept getting more interesting.
The Silos is open Wednesday through Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday). Wednesday and Thursday hours are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m., and Sunday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Read more about the menu and space at siloscocktail.com.

Vera: Wine Country Dining on Monterey Road
Vera (with an accent on the "e") takes its name from "veraison," the French word for the moment wine grapes change color as they ripen. The restaurant sits at 17395 Monterey Road, sharing a building with Cura Contemporary gallery on the corner of Monterey and Second Street.
Chef Diego Martinez runs the kitchen with a menu of shareable plates that lean toward local ingredients and wine-country flavors. The wine list mixes South County bottles with international selections, and the cocktail program is solid. Indoor and outdoor seating are both options. We like the patio on warm evenings.
Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Friday and Saturday until 8:30 p.m.), closed Mondays. Check verarestaurant.com for the current menu. The gallery next door is worth a look while you wait for your table.
The Breakfast Club: Brunch Has a New Home on Dunne Avenue
If you remember Yolked Extreme Breakfast on East Dunne Avenue, that space has new life. The Breakfast Club now operates at 775 East Dunne Avenue with a menu of breakfast and brunch classics plus a full bar. They open at 7 a.m. daily and close at 3 p.m.
The San Jose original has a following, and the Morgan Hill location has settled in quickly. Weekend mornings get busy, so plan accordingly or come on a Tuesday when you can actually get a table without waiting. Source: Visit Morgan Hill

A few more spots worth mentioning:
Chocotella opened on Third Street downtown with made-to-order crepes, both savory and sweet. It's a small space but the crepes are well-done and it fills a gap downtown for a lighter meal.
Mad Pizza World at 35 East Main Avenue brings Roman-style pizza by the slice to Morgan Hill. The dough is the thing here, airy and crisp in a way that's different from the Neapolitan places.
Both of these came recommended by Visit Morgan Hill's new dining roundup.
What's Coming Next
Looking ahead: the developers behind Appellation, a chef-driven hotel brand, have The MOHI project slated for 2027. Plans include multiple restaurants and food concepts, a rooftop pool bar, and event spaces. That's still a ways out, but it signals where downtown Morgan Hill is headed.
